Admiring the new baby.

It's a boy!

Janet gave birth to a baby boy last night (10/31) at 8:51 pm. We are naming him Jonathan Michael Weller. He weighs 7 pounds and 2 ounces.

There were some minor complications with the delivery, but she was able to delivery him naturally without any epidural. The baby is doing great and seems to be a natural at the feeding. Janet is understandable tired and sore, but she was already back to her chipper self this morning. She is truly a remarkable and resilient woman.

We are planning to check out of the hospital and arrive home late this evening.

P.S. I wish I could have given you some updates before now, but I was without internet at the hospital.

Off to the hospital

We are at Heather's clinic, about halfway to the hospital. We plan to linger here for a bit until we are closer and then go on to the hospital.

Janet's water broke around 3 am this morning. So here we go!

Heather and Cindy are on their way here and then we are off to the hospital.
